Doorbell cameras, also known as Video Doorbells, are smart home security devices that allow homeowners to keep an eye on their front door and receive alerts when someone approaches or rings the Doorbell. By incorporating artificial intelligence algorithms, the Doorbell can analyze and interpret video footage, thus providing more advanced features and functionality.
Connections
The Doorbell allows for two types of network connections.
LAN connection – included in the Doorbell kit is a wiring harness with a PoE RJ45 connector. So not only are you getting a fast and latency-free connection, but the PoE feature further enhances it. Of course, the Doorbell also supports a regular DC12V connection.
Wi-Fi connection – The Doorbell can also connect through Wi-Fi to a 2.4GHz network, so you are not limited and can change the connection type as you see fit. The Wi-Fi configuration is easy with a simple QR code scan and choosing the preferred Wi-Fi network to connect to.
